The Purpose of New Era Nursery

The purpose of New Era Nursery School  is to care for and educate the children of Ruanbeg community and environs in Kildare, of which the nursery is a part, in a manner which reflects the Christian values of the Church's teachings.The nursery aims to provide a learning environment within a Christian setting in which the children can grow in understanding.

Through a broad and balanced curriculum, New Era Nursery School endeavours to equip each child with the necessary skills, attitudes, values and knowledge in preparation for school life, always setting the highest expectations whilst supporting those who need help to do their best.

To achieve this, the Nursery will:

  • Welcome and foster the Home, Nursery and Health Board partnership
  • Respect and respond to each child's individuality;
  • Encourage children to develop a sense of self-worth, leading to self-discipline;
  • Enable all members of the nursery community: children, parents, and staff to develop their true potential;
  • Recognise the diversity of cultural background and embrace it as a resource to be valued;
  • Encourage mutual respect between staff, children, parents and visitors.
